Jennifer Scherf was born in Dallas Texas and grew up in the North Dallas area, graduating from Plano Senior High School in 1993. Ms. Scherf graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas with Bachelor of Science degrees in Criminal Justice, Business Law and English. Following college, she took a couple of years off to be with her family before returning to school. In 2003, she was awarded a Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University, and was licensed in the State of Texas that same year. While attending the SMU, Mrs. Scherf was a member of the Moot Court Board as well as the treasurer for the Environmental Law Society.

During her career, Ms. Scherf has had experience in General Practice, Employment and Family Law, but has focused exclusively on Social Security Disability for the past 8 years.

Ms. Scherf is very driven; making her a strong advocate for her clients' rights. She believes in treating people who find themselves forced to apply for disability with dignity and respect.
