Attorney Profiles

Jennifer Scherf was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in the North Dallas area, graduating from Plano Senior High School in 1993.  Mrs. Scherf graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas with Bachelor of Science degrees in Criminal Justice, Business Law and English. In 2003, she was awarded a Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University, and was licensed in the State of Texas that same year. While attending the SMU, Mrs. Scherf was a member of the Moot Court Board as well as the treasurer for the Environmental Law Society. 

During her career, Mrs. Scherf has had experience in General Practice, Employment and Family Law, but has focused exclusively on Social Security Disability for the past 6 years, helping hundreds of people receive the benefits they deserve.

She has successfully represented hundreds of physically and mentally disabled people seeking social security disability and supplemental security income benefits. Since the great majority of her clients are struggling financially; and many of them do not have medical insurance; she is committed to win benefits for her clients as quickly as possible.

Mrs. Scherf is very driven; making her a strong advocate for her clients' rights.  She understands how profoundly becoming disabled can impact every area of your life and believes in treating people who find themselves forced to apply for disability with dignity and respect, while acting as a powerful advocate to get their claims resolved as quickly as possible.

As a part of a large, established firm, she and her staff are able to focus all of her time and energy towards advocating for their clients.
