Attorney Profiles

Mr. Jones was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1977.  He is admitted to the U.S. District Court, for the Eastern, Northern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas, and for the District of Arizona; and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.  He received his B.S. in Humanities and Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1974 and J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law at Austin.

Mr. Jones began practicing bankruptcy law in 1980.  He strives to obtain the best results for the client at a reasonable cost.  Mr. Jones has experience representing creditors, debtors, and federal agency in all types of bankruptcy proceedings.  His extensive experience with the bankruptcy trustees and law firms representing creditors allows him to provide the client with superior representation.

Mr. Jones is a member of the Houston Association of Debtor Attorneys, State Bar of Texas, and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.  He is experienced in Federal, State, and Bankruptcy Litigation.  Mr. Jones also has experience in corporate law, real estate law, wills & estate planning, and probate law.
