Dana Floyd is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Georgia in 1992. She then continued her studies in law school, graduating from Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi in 1996.
Ms. Floyd was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1996 prior to relocating to Chicago, Illinois where she was admitted to practice in 1997. She practiced in the area of corporate law before devoting her practice to family law in 2005. Ms. Floyd recently headed west to Texas where she continues to focus on family law.
With her primary focus on family law, Ms. Floyd has litigation experience representing clients in all types of contested family cases such as divorce, child custody, child support, modifications, terminations and adoptions. Ms. Floyd has also acted as a court appointed Guardian ad Litem to protect the best interests of children in contested custody cases and has represented indigent juveniles in juvenile court proceedings.
Ms. Floyd focuses on providing individual attention to each and every client’s specific needs to reach the best outcome possible for him or her. She is passionate about preserving the best interests of a family by helping clients make informed decisions about their rights and legal options.
