Mr. Fulks is a native Texan who received his Bachelors in History from Texas Tech University, in 1986. He then attended Capitol University Law School in Columbus, Ohio where he graduated with his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree in 1989.
He practiced briefly in Marietta, Ohio before being admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1991. He served as an Assistant District Attorney and Narcotics Task Force Special Prosecutor in west Texas, and as the Presidio County Attorney in Marfa, TX. He then moved to Fort Worth in 1994 to serve as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Fort Worth, where he prosecuted traffic and code violations, until 2000. Since that time, he has used his expertise in complex criminal matters to assist and defend those citizens accused of criminal offenses. Mr. Fulks joined Bailey & Galyen in 2011, and is pleased to bring 22 years of substantial experience to the firm.
Mr. Fulks has worked as a general practice attorney in several areas of law including Criminal Law, Family Law, Probate & Estate Planning, Consumer Bankruptcy, Real Estate Law, and Civil Litigation, representing individuals and their families. As a father of two children, Mr. Fulks understands the importance of family. Having practiced as a prosecutor and defense attorney, he knows that there are always "two sides" to any matter, and that all parties deserve to be heard. Mr. Fulks is a straightforward man who strives to ensure that all clients understand their rights, options, and duties under the law.
Mr. Fulks is an active member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary where he serves as a Marine Safety and Environmental Protection Specialist.
